Tilted Thunder is proud to offer a multi-level junior roller derby program on the banked track! The next registration is Saturday, June 22nd at 10am.
Peeps (beginner) for girls age 11-17 who have never rolled on the banked track, no experience required and everyone is accepted. Practice is every Saturday from 8:00-9:30am and Wednesday from 6-8pm and the session runs from 1/30-6/8, the cost is $250 for the session. This is a full contact group and skills will be taught in a thoughtful manner beginning with basic skating and moving up through agility, blocking, hitting and strategy. As girls gain experience and skill they are welcome to take an evaluation and join the Peeps Advanced group described next.
Peeps (advanced) is for girls age 11-17 who have already had a session on the banked track or who have significant derby experience on the flat with another league. This is a competitive, full contact group and these are the girls that bout at Comcast currently. You must begin in Peeps Beginner and pass an evaluation to join the advanced Peeps. Advanced practices are every Wednesday from 6-8pm and Saturdays from 11-12:30pm, once per month there is an official scrimmage on Saturdays from 12:30-2pm and the cost is $250 for the session which runs from 6/26 through 9/21.

This is a non-competitive group and geared toward younger girls. They practice Saturdays from 9:30-11am and their session runs from 7/6-9/28 and the cost is $125.
All skaters, no matter the division must have the following gear:
